Ingredients
  

  • 2–3 celery stalks1 cup fresh spinach leaves (packed)
  • 1 small green apple (cored and chopped)
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • ½ cucumber (optional, peeled and chopped)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½-inch knob fresh ginger (peeled)
  • ½ cup cold water (or more as needed)

Method
 

  1. Wash and roughly chop all produce to fit your juicer or blender.

  2. If using a juicer, run the celery, spinach, green apple, pineapple, cucumber, lemon, and ginger through the machine. Stir in cold water as needed to reach your desired consistency.

  3. If using a blender, add all ingredients with the water. Blend on high until very smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to remove pulp, if you prefer a clearer drink.

  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately, ideally first thing in the morning or as a midday refreshment.

Notes

  • Swap pineapple for orange or pear if desired.
  • Add fresh mint or parsley for extra freshness.
