Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • ½–1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 8–12 ounces filtered water (room temperature or cold)
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or cayenne, ½ teaspoon honey or stevia

Method
 

  1. In a large glass, combine the apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Add the water and stir to mix everything well.

  2. Stir in the chia seeds and let the drink sit for 10 to 15 minutes, allowing the chia to swell and form a gel-like texture.

  3. Grate fresh ginger into the drink.

  4. If desired, add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne for extra warmth, or sweeten with honey or stevia.
