Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1 small umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum), pitted
  • 1 piece kombu (about 2 inches)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 cup hot filtered water

Method
 

  1. Place the kombu in a cup and pour in the hot water. Let it steep for five minutes.

  2. Remove the kombu and add the matcha powder. Whisk until smooth and frothy.
