Ingredients
  

  • 1–2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2–3 tablespoons cold water
  • 3/4 cup milk (dairy, oat, almond, or coconut)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Sift matcha powder into a bowl or shaker.

  2. Add cold water and whisk or shake until smooth and frothy.

  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in your choice of milk.

  4. Slowly add the whisked matcha mixture over the milk and ice.
