Method
- Brew a double shot of espresso and pour into a mug.
- Steam cold half-and-half until hot and foamy (use a steam wand or froth by hand).
- Slowly pour steamed half-and-half over espresso, holding back the foam.
- Spoon remaining foam on top of the drink.
- Add cocoa or cinnamon on top if desired.
- Enjoy your breve coffee hot, or pour espresso over ice and add chilled half-and-half for an iced version.
Notes
- For non-dairy, use a high-fat barista oat or coconut creamer (texture will be lighter).
- Adjust espresso strength, sweetness, and foam to your preference.
